Who Are We?
Background
Our beautiful new office is complete. The office boasts two
conference rooms in addition to a reception area, private office
and restroom. The new location is at the intersection of Belcher
and Ulmerton Roads in Largo, next to the IHOP, and is centrally
located in the heart of Pinellas County.
We continue to serve clients in state and federal criminal cases as
well as a limited number of civil disputes between individuals and
small businesses. We also have a thriving mediation practice;
serving litigants in circuit civil, county and family law cases, in the
same location.
If you have been arrested or even questioned by the authorities it
is imperative that you seek the assistance of a lawyer
immediately. Often it is the first few days after an arrest or
inquiry by the police that an attorney can make the most
difference in the outcome of your case. Many of the mistakes
people make in the first hours or days of contact with the
authorities are irrevocable; for instance, when suspects answer
questions although it is usually best to remain silent and ask for a

life. After graduating from St. Petersburg High School, he received his Bachelor's Degree at
Florida State University, and returned to Gulfport, Florida to attend law school at Stetson
University. Mr. Andringa was a prosecutor in Clearwater and New Port Richey, Florida for
eleven years before moving to the Florida Keys, where he served as a prosecutor for two
more years. In 2006, Mr. Andringa returned to Clearwater, Florida and established R. Scott
Andringa, Esq. LLC. Mr. Andringa also serves as a mediator in civil and family cases. His
mediation firm, Suncoast Mediation is also located in Clearwater, Florida.
